Learn how to create a profile of the companies that are a perfect match for your product or service.
1. Create a new Ideal Customer Profile
- Navigate to strategy > ideal customers.
- Click new.
- Select the product this profile should be associated with.
- Click create.
2. Add at least 3 example companies
Before Growf can write your Ideal Customer Profile, our AI needs some example companies to work with. Those example companies can either be current customers or potential customers that are a great match for your product.
Either way, it's crucial that the examples you add belong to the same segment. Such as software companies with 50 to 100 employees.
If the companies differ too much, our AI will have a hard time writing a solid profile and future campaigns won't be as well-tailored as they could be.
- Enter the name or LinkedIn company page URL of the company.
- Click the search button.
- Check if Growf found the right company.
- Select a webpage that provides the best description of this company - usually the homepage or 'about us' page.
- Click the summarize page button.
- Check if the description is accurate and click save.
- Repeat until you've added at least three companies.
- Click next when you're done.
3. Write the bio description
When Growf has enough example companies to work with, it's time to write the bio.
This description will be used as context for the Buyer Personas you associate with this Ideal Customer Profile, so it's important that the bio is 100% complete and accurate.
- Click start the magic to generate the bio.
- Edit the bio if necessary.
- Click finish.
4. Change the publication status
Once you're done, you can change the publication status of your Ideal Customer Profile from draft to published.
- Go the overview page of the Ideal Customer Profile.
- Click draft in the top right corner to open the dropdown menu.
- Select published.
