How to create a target list in Growf

This article explains how to create a target list (or named account list).

1. What can a target list be used for?

A target list, or named account list, is often used in Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and sales to focus efforts on high-priority accounts. By creating a target list, you can identify and organize key accounts that are most valuable to your business.

In marketing, it helps tailor marketing campaigns to specific companies, increasing the chances of converting high-value prospects. For sales teams, a target list prioritizes efforts on accounts with the highest potential.

2. How to search for target accounts

Growf uses an Ideal Customer Profile (and its example companies) to compose an account search. If the results of the search are not perfect, try adding different example companies to the Ideal Customer Profile or edit the search manually.

  • Navigate to strategy > ideal customers.
  • Select an Ideal Customer Profile.
  • Click on the target accounts tab.

3. How to export a target list

Once you're satisfied with your target list, you can export the list to use it in LinkedIn Ads for targeting or upload it to your CRM system.

The export is a csv file which includes the company name, domain name and LinkedIn company page URL.

This is how to export your list:

  • Click view saved in the target accounts tab.
  • Click the download button, located next to the find more button.
